We are a club of sports dance TK STARLET BRNO z.s. at the STARLET Dance School with more than 60 years of tradition in teaching ballroom dance and social education in Brno.\u00a0We perform at CSTS competitions under the name<\/span> TK Moravia Starlet Brno K2.\u00a0<\/span>We are dedicated to the education of sports dancers in all age categories - from the youngest children to seniors.<\/p>

The history of the Dance Club and its connection with the traditional Brno Dance School STARLET has been going on for more than 60 years. In 1958 the Club was founded by Mr. Vladimir Buryan, the founder of the STARLET Dance School in Brno.<\/span> Since 1968 the Dance Club was a part of the Dance School, which operated within the Brno Park of Culture<\/span> and respite. After 1989, the STARLET Dance School passed into the private hands of Mr. and Mrs. Buryan, and in 1991 the Dance Club was spun off as a non-commercial entity dedicated to the sport of dance. Although the Club has been forced to change its registered name over the years, its activities have been continuous for over 60 years and have always included the Starlet name, which it still proudly bears.<\/span> TK Starlet Brno z.s. as a newly registered entity was established on 16.3.2021 and its chairman is Mgr. Lucie Kokotkov\u00e1 Buryanov\u00e1 - daughter of the founders of the STARLET Dance School and the original Starlet Dance Club.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Currently, the members of the dance club are divided into several components so that each dancer, given his\/her performance and age, develops exactly as he\/she needs. We train with a broad base of club coaches as well as with outside coaches through workshops and camps.<\/p>

In addition to educating athletic dancers, we are also regular organizers of dance competitions for various performance and age categories. Every year we also organize a Summer Dance Camp, which is a great intensive preparation for the following season.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The goal of our Club is not only to perform at our best, but also to be one team that supports each other and grows together as people and as dancers.
